Acuity Investment Management wins GLOBE award for environmental excellence

Acuity, which manages the Acuity Clean Environment Funds and the Acuity Social Values Funds, received the award at a gala presentation in Toronto May 22. The award is considered to be the most high-profile new national awards series of its type.

The award is given in a number of categories. In the sustainable investment and banking category, the award recognizes Canadian fund managers, banks, brokers, venture capital companies and investment advisors who are developing new financial instruments, analytical tools and targeted funds that take environmental factors into consideration and strategically place capital into sustainable technologies and ventures.

Acuity was given the award in recognition of its commitment to environment and business investment. “The company has a long history of environmental sector investing. It is very well versed in environmental trends and technology requirements.”
