EIRIS
provides independent research into corporate behavior through EPM to
investors to enable them to make informed and responsible investment
decisions. Ethical Portfolio Manager (EPM) is a software
product that allows institutional clients access to EIRIS's
research, information on the non-financial performance for 2500
companies in Europe, North America, Australasia, Japan, Hong Kong
and Singapore. Institutional Investors can screen or rate
their investment universe according to their social, environmental
or ethical criteria. The software can also be used for best of
sector approaches, assessment of SEE risks or used to identify and
assist with engagement. EIRIS also offers a consultancy
service to help clients set up and implement an "ethical"/
"sustainable" investment policy.
The EIRIS Business Briefing Service is available to all UK companies
researched by EIRIS. The service is particularly useful for
investor relations and corporate affairs personnel who want to be
informed of developments in the SRI world and how investors'
environmental, social or ethical concerns affect their company.
EIRIS
also offers services for charities, brokers and individuals.
For example we provide a donor screening service for charities.
For people with share portfolios we can produce acceptable lists of
companies according to their ethical criteria, portfolio analysis
and full company reports.
Financial advisors can subscribe to EIRIS's
biennial guide on ethical funds-
Choosing an Ethical Fund - which helps them find the most
suitable ethical fund for their clients. There is also a free
email news bulletin service for financial advisers.
EIRIS produces a wealth of information on all aspects of ethical and
socially responsible investment, including banking, insurance, and
pensions as well as investments. Much of this can be found on
the EIRIS website www.eiris.org
